South Island, Abel Tasman

After WOMAD i was picked up a french guy, Vincent.
We stayed a night at a river. Not so smart... going onto a 4WD road with normal crappy vans...
We drove down to Wellington. We left Taranaki just in time because that day a very heavy storm started that caused a lot of damage on houses and other things. In Wellington it was also raining the whole time, but it wasn't as bad as in Taranaki. I visited my cousin, Herwin, and we had a GREAT time. I met Herwin for the first time at the wedding of Emma & Gerrick. It was nice to meet his family. Just stayed for one night and then we took the ferry to the south island.

A duck couple that made the weirdest sounds

Don't need any signs, nature tells you where to go!

This was my first hike in New Zealand, 40 km, felt so good!
